I've been busy continuously counting and recounting the Euros in my Piggy Bank and waiting for a 'phone call from the dealer to tell me how much the major has just cost!
Right here at the moment! Facing more busy days and major changes in life Lot's of decisions to make... Probably buying a new daily driver this week too...
Roel, I don't bonker that much! It is just not my thing. But I have been around. Alex, That sounds serious! What's up?
*The birth of our son comes really close now... *We are cautinatly looking out for a new house... but no rush yet... *I would like to change my job... but that's probably not a good idea at the moment... *I'm in doubt to buy the Alfa Romeo on the pic this week... testdrive tomorow... *And I still want a Ferrari! Wow, you will be a father!!!! Congratulations. I am probably the only one on this board who didn't know. Nice Alfa! I saw the F430 in the new showroom of Francorchamps Motors in Waterloo.
*I could buy an older car with more km's and have a Ferrari sooner... but also have the risk of getting into trouble sooner and having to buy a new daily driver sooner too (I'm driving 50.000km a year and would like to keep my next car at least 6years as I did with the Fiat). *Or buy a new(er) one and drive a car I like more and probably lasts longer... but I will have to wait a bit longer for the Ferrari that way... The car I'm looking at now looks like a good deal but the colour isn't my first choice... Pfff... those Italian cars are driving me nuts! Decisions!
Take your time! There are more cars than fish in the river. Pick the one that you like. Put your priorities right! Most important thing now is to get a good familycar.
May I suggest the Maserati Coupe. It makes a fantastic family car, and it still goes like stink. Who says a family must equal a large boring estate car? 4 seats & some luggage space are all you need. When I was a kid my father owned just a little Alfasud, and we travelled happily on holidays all over Europe, 2 adults, 2 kids and all the luggage we could fit. And believe me, the trunk of the Alfasud is smaller than a Maser's... I leave you with this thought
sounds logical - at least the 'Greens' seem to think that the cars are killing off the fish in the river! (Just a bit naffed off after discovering the 50% increase in road tax to pay for the dead fish in Germany 5 days after registering the car!)
