I am too old for My Space and too young for Medicare but I guess Daft Punk is a rock group and they made a more than one hour video of a black Ferrari 412 bereft of Ferrrari logos being driven along by two guys in opacque faced racing helmets. I wonder if anyone has seen this and if it's worth getting? Will it play on American DVD players?
    Thanks for the advice.

I bought it (Electroma) on Amazon a couple of years back. It is a cool movie with a great soundtrack, besides the excellent footage (about 12 minutes) of the 412. Mine was an Australian version. Fortunately, I have a multi-region DVD player. If you don't, make sure you get an NTSC Region 1 DVD.

Correct on the black 412, but wrong on the 'rock group'....Daft Punk are a French electronic duo.

    They look like aliens.
Must have freaked out anyone seeing them.
What's the "plot" of using the 400 in the film?

I was scanning the local movie listings here in rural Olomouc, Czech Republic (currently here for work) and saw a listing for this movie. Unfortunately it was only showing today and I missed it, but I watched the trailer which had the 412 in it driving through northern Arizona - my home. I need to get a copy of this movie. A 400i was my first "exotic".

As for the plot, it's supposed to be about two robots that try - spoiler alert - unsuccessfully to become human.

Electroma is now available to rent or buy on iTunes, when you get back home.
