Has anyone used wheel adapters on their 360s or 430s? There doesn't appear to be nearly as many 5x108 wheels options as there are 5x114.3 options.

    Yes,
I have the Ricambi kits for 11 mm and long bolts for sandwich mount on the fronts. 25 mm double bolts on the rears. My 18 inch OZ Superleggera III were made for my old 94 348 with 1 inch Ferrari spec lip. These spacers fit the wheels on a 360. You lose the dished rear lip effect that some like on their cars but the 1 inch spec Ferrari fit is clean and smooth with the fender edges. Fronts are 8.5 inch, rears 10.5 inch. Fronts are wider than stock with 235 tires. Did snag the fender lip once on front right but rolled it back easily. Grip is much improved and under steer nearly gone except for odd camber surface as might be expected.

John- He is talking about adapters to use 5 x 114.3 mm (4.5") wheels on early Ferraris with 5 x 108 mm bolt pattern, not about spacers.

I asked Paul Hill of Hill Engineering about making adapters and he said it would be easy, but he would not recommend it. Too little metal left on the outside to guarantee the adapter would last. The adapter would need to be at least 25 mm thick and the holes for the 5 x 114.3 mm wheel bolts would need hardened inserts, like HE Type 2 spacers. Not enough metal for that. Adapters or spacers with the holes just threaded into aluminum are not a good idea for a Ferrari. Too easy to cross-thread and security of the connection goes way down after that. No fun having a wheel come off while driving.

There are many wheels available for Ferraris with 5 x 108 mm bolt patterns. You just have to hunt for them and they tend to be expensive.
