No, you achieved exactly what you set out to do. People are just having fun playing along. Which should have answered your question on why a person bought X car, its' about one's individual's priorities. You want a car that wins a class in a race. You've achieved that - congrats! Yeah, they got 2nd place in Lemans this year. I agree it would be nice to have gotten first. come by NorCal FOG...
Yeah, Ferrari really are off their game. The 488 got 2nd place to the new GT40 this year in Lemans.. End might be here. If you own RACE - sell now....buy a Mustang, go Roush it...call 04g - have lunch.
In all seriousness, my car is the most 'uncool' & 'unloved' Ferrari model. Yet - I can say the local and online Ferrari community has welcomed me with open arms. When the Ferrari dealership invited me to hang out with other enthusiasts like Adam Levine earlier this year..what more can say about these supposedly 'stogy' non-enthusiasts that only care about 'badge' or if you are Mr. Money Bags? I'm living proof the one thing that is the true 'gatekeeper' for the Ferrari world is if you like the car/brand, you don't even need to own one. People's own insecurities attempt to frame our group in a negative light to justify their own inadequacies on their lack of membership. Funny that our expert race driver has gone quiet on the 'wager'
does it look like this? http://c8.alamy.com/comp/E8961D/group-of-elderly-people-in-wheelchairs-on-beach-watching-the-water-E8961D.jpg
no more like this. We partner with Make-a-Wish so on our track events we can help kids that have cancer. We take them out on the track since often they really like Ferrari cars. Sometimes we also try to help in-need kids or developmentally impaired on our bi-weekly drives. You may want to better examine Ferraris financials if you think they are doing things wrong. Your crystal ball based on your anecdotal experiences as to what 'might happen' down the road is no more valid than any one elses.
I dont remember the Tesla in the 90s... And whats with the age comments ? Did your grand-dad diddle you ? I lived like a rock star in my youth (a literal rock star for a while). Porn stars, Playboy playmates, exotic cars...but I have to tell you that getting older brings a level of sagacity that the youth (all of them including yourself) cant comprehend. All of us thought we knew everything at your age. Those of us who matured and gained wisdom , realized how stupid we sounded back then. Just like you.
we had our charity event last night 04g. I don't know where you are located, but it would be great to have you come out with your 458 and also support a good cause. What locale are you? I can say I'm under 40, so I'm not wheelchair bound (yet) Btw, you don't have to have a Ferrari, you're welcome to bring your 911TT and Lambo if it suits you.
Being in the automotive business, I must say that I do appreciate your comments especially more if you check out to be exactly who you claim to be. This industry is thankless, risky, highly competitive, extremely capital intensive and the margins are laughable compared to just about every other consumer product. Bankruptcy is only a couple of recalls away and that's when you're doing things right. Ferrari can not survive on reputation alone especially when competition can lay claim to every one of Ferraris qualities and more, at least according to the next generation of potential customers if what you say is true. On that note, it's safe to assume that Ferrari values the next generation of owners more than it appreciates the past or even current so it's thier voice that should matter, otherwise I'm afraid, it's back up for sale and the brand risks being relegated to status of "your grandpas sports car.
he has multiple people that have accepted his wager, so far - he's gone quiet about it. I'm a dad of small kids, it's fun to play 'stupid' sometimes. Even though when you play stupid games, yes..you win stupid prizes. Yea, some people turn to drugs to feel better good about themselves, others troll message boards. But I really do enjoy playing with trolls online, it's a welcome respite from the more seriousness stuff of everyday life.
You sir slammed the door. He was looking at this thread at 4:38 and still avoided your acceptance. Funny how that happens.
pretty sure we are waiting on a moderator to step up and act as a neutral party. Then somebody (might have been you) went and posted a checklist of "verifications" something stupid like DL must match IP address and all cars have to be together in 1 picture. My cars are not all in the same garage or even the same property, if you want reasonable proof its here. I am not going to jump through hoops for an internet picture.
paulchua, pick a modedator lets do this brother. get the paypal ready. also can a mod get everybody who is in on this "wager" in the same post and lock it so people cant edit/delete their BS after we settle it?
Shocking to see you backing away quickly. Many young individuals find themselves in similar circumstances when their mouth gets away from them. Lets not forget you are the one who offered the challenge and seemed very eager to follow through. Now not so much, since the bluff has been accepted. I will gladly say you are a man of your word if you follow through but until then I guess we just have to wait and see.
Not a mod, but I have been around for a long time and am active in the thread. I would be happy to act as a neutral party and verify. I have no $$$ on the table either. PDG Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
Yeah I know. The 458 is in your house in the Hamptons, your Lambo down in the Bahamas, and your 911 is at the airstrip next to your private jet/helicopter. Do you at least have the salvage 360 you tried to buy here on your first post?
missing a few cars on this card as they are under different states like i said, but you shouldnt worry because its all fake anyway... how much $$ are we doing again?? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm assuming you will be there tomorrow, if so stop by and say hello. I have to say that I'm not digging how everyone is getting on the original poster. Image Unavailable, Please Login
