Whats In Your Garage?

Wow, I had no idea Vectors were that fast. I thought they were Lambo-esque. Pretty sweet performance. How much did they sell for new? Any idea what they go for now?

My garage has mainly lawn stuff, but there is currently an R8 and an Acura in it.

The Vector shows down the homely Lambos in the style department, almost makes the Ford GT look like it has a "soup spoon" front end

 

When the car was new in 1992 her original cost was $448,000. Depending on the condition of the car, they range from around $300k for a car needing restoration to $1.2 million for a car that is in very good condition.

You can take pics any time, rides usually depend on my mood and the weather plays a small factor.

Sorry to be the cynic here but I'm tired of these threads where someone says they have 20 Ferraris, Lambos, Rolls, Bentleys, Veyrons, Zondas, etc in their garage and they don't post a picture of their cars and/or they disappear after making one post in the thread. I've been reading car forums a long time and I see people make these claims all the time-99% of the time the original poster either disappears or gets very defensive and never posts any pics. If you have the cars that's great-post some pictures.

 

I recognize Beach road and Wattles from the video! I couldn't even imagine seeing a Vector in Troy!

 

I'll be happy to eat crow if I'm wrong, but something about the way he posts makes me think this guy is legit. "forgive me" for giving him the benefit of the doubt.

 

Ummm, what? Where? Ummmm I am sure you have mistaken those streets for somewhere else. Ummm, Ummm, Ummm. And also I have never exceeded the speed limit in any car I own.....ever. Any video that may imply that I have was artificially sped up for your viewing pleasure. Ummmmm. Also any sounds of engine revving are part of the editing process and dubbed in to the artificially speed enhanced video. The car in the video is an infatuation of your imagination. Also I have never been to Michigan, but I hear its a nice place.

 

I totally agree with you! Legit or not...If he starts a thread to talk and list all the cars he has..then he should not have any problem posting the pics!

 

Riiiight. I'm sure your neighbors love you for not-speeding through the development.

Awesome car. I hope to see it in person one day. I remember the road and track magazine when they debut that car! I was either a junior or senior I think. I still think I have the magazine somewhere. That white Diablo Roadster and your car together is pure lust! Any pictures of the engine bay?

Seeing the car in R&T when you were in H.S. puts your age in the mid-late thirties. According to another local forum, aren't you in your mid 40's?

Had the pleasure of seeing it in person-pics just do not tell the whole story. Hope to see them both again soon. May need white paint to blend in though...

But here is a picture of the engine in my car.
The engine as you see it is 100% original as it came from the factory. Nothing has been polished or enhanced. This is how the cars were delivered from Vector.

~700hp flip the pulleys ~1100 @ the flywheel.
Kurt's W8 still tops here too! Now THAT is CRAZY power.

The Vector has always been one of my faviorite cars. I still have a magazine I bought in 1986 with a great story on the Vector. Would love to see on in real life.
