Got addicted to these...roasted Fava beans...from an asian market. Bought a crap load on the web! I'll have to get a few others munching these things or I'm in a heap o ****! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sicilians consider fava beans to be good luck, so we ate a lot of them growing up. Never seen then roasted though...T
Those look awesome... never had them. Need to look them up. And reminds me I need to order a bunch of Virginia Diner peanuts. The best!
Cool enough a few nights ago to enjoy a little chiminea action, while cooking what I think are the last installments of the wife's oddly shaped prime beef tenderloins from Costco...T Edit - steaks cooked over oak/charcoal, not a fireplace log/pinon wood! Nice smoke cloud! When I lived in Richmond (tight city living) years ago I was grilling with added wood chips... smoked pretty good! Someone called the fire department. Said to my wife, hey, those sirens sounds really close. Couple engines parked out front and they were heading up my walk in full gear ready to go. I backed off the wood chips after that.
The Blizzaks are my go to winter tire. Driving to central Washington State in winter, they are the best in the mountains. Lots of snow and ice. Last night was shake and bake pork chops. Tonight I'm not sure yet, maybe a sushi night.
Nice one. Haven't had the fire department called on me yet! Several neighbors will leave out oak wood for me since we have none on our property, mostly pecans, an elm, a sickly nectarine, and some weed tree that I was told was a hapckberry. From time to time I'll drop off a brisket flat, smoked chicken or such to say thanks. I think after almost 20 years, our neighbors know what they're getting into. My big fear is what happens if vegetarians move in to the neighborhood! T
It started raining. The Japanese restaurants make you wait outside for your order. Even though I'd be sitting in the truck, don't feel like doing it. Decided to make Kirkland Angus beef burgers. Ran to the store for buns.

My brother is over. We are playing with Bella in the back yard. Trying to tire her out, she gets crazy if she doesn't get a good play. Think we'll order a pizza. Place near here, new chain has decent pizza.
Pups need to be worn out or they'll be up to mayhem. Is she potty trained? Cage trained? We did burgers tonight and fish last night. Hmm. Can't upload a pic. That's odd. T

She's partially potty trained. Still uses the pads sometimes. She is crate trained, but I've been letting her sleep with me. Image Unavailable, Please Login
