Not much longer for her! Weather is cooling off here, so I like to do a lot of cooking on the weekend, and then freeze and thaw as needed...T

Oh dear, the chili police should be here any minute to remark upon your veggies!

Was going to have sushi with my dad. He wanted seafood udon. Restaurant was too busy. Its small inside and not very many tables. We ended up ordering a pizza with my brother. Meat lovers from a new local chain. Wasn't bad, sauce was too sweet.

Slice from the fatty end of the brisket, i.e., the point. Temp was a bit higher than I wanted, pulled it at 203 F, got about 5 - 7 degrees of carryover, so the flat was a bit dry, but I think the flavor was great. Nice and oak-y, good bark, good burnt ends, just the right amount of salt and pepper.

Bella doesn't like beef liver, tried giving her a raw piece. She looked at like poison. She does like hamburger and salmon. I hate liver, so thank god my other dog loves it or Id be tossing it out..........................................

That's odd, we cook liver and rice with bones for our dogs every night. They all love it raw.

We used to have one of those. Did a great job on fruit, but the one we had took forever to dry meat to make jerky. What spices?

Dark and regular soy sauce, chili pepper-think pizza flakes-garlic and onion powder, liquid smoke, MSG, cumin and lots of freshly ground black pepper and yup it is taking forever!

    GUYS I WAS WRONG

This time she used vegetable oil, I was telling her about her seconds of fame and she corrected me.

Sorry for the misinformation, she sometimes does use mayo.

We had one too. Used it for chicken treats for the girls - yes, took forever. It finally broke and we went to baking them. Much easier.

Good idea, thanks....................... was making ribs tonight with mac n cheese. But the grill is out of gas and I don't feel like going to get more.

Clam chowder with grilled cheese sandwiches instead. Still have to make it.
