What's an Aston Martin DB9 like to own?

Does the 2014 have the same tranny as the 2010 DBS ?
It also looks like the hp is marginally improved

The auto box is probably the same.

 

I've had both the maser and my db9.....both great, gorgeous autos, but I've never been smitten as I am with the aston.....hands down the winner for me

In 3 years/10K mi of ownership of my DB9, I have only put in an external temp sensor ($65), 2 door struts ($65), and a headliner ($200). Usual annual fluid changes of course. They run better driven! I will say I am itching to try a Rapide. More room and it has a hatchback that I could use to transport my Dad who uses a walker.

 

I’m thinking about selling my dot 1 GT3 RS and getting another Aston- I know, I know. But once I sold my ‘05 Vanquish S (the first car I ever speccd) I just knew at some point I’d get another. I figure I can (nearly) get an Aston and a corvette convertible for my wife - which she REALLY wants out of the deal for the RS.
