Posting for a friend... He's looking at an 84 Mondial with 22k miles. Silver with black top and it's supposedly in pristine condition. Thanks! Keith www.race-tones.com Ferrari-powered ringtones
Other than maintenance records and maybe a Carfax, what other info would be helpful? Keith www.race-tones.com Ferrari-powered ringtones
i had the manager at my bank offer me 500k! i said sold and tossed the keys on the counter. he said 'give me a few yrs' dang! now i have to wait
If you have a body shop you can trust take the car and check for body rust, and see if there is any bondo or some kind of body filler anywhere on the body, this will tell you a little bit about the history of the car. If there is any filler on the body then you can negotiate.
Go to the Fchat regional forum for your area and post a notice for someone to give the car a proper PPI or at the very minimum, have a local Fchatter who knows Mondials go take a look at it. There is no way to place a value on the car unless you know the service history and what is wrong with the car. Some things on Ferraris can be very expensive to fix. Birdman
22k sounds reasonable for an "off-color" car, early in the production run or a model that wasn't as well received as its siblings.
There's a red/tan QV in FML that hasn't sold at $30k for a few months now. Mid 20's unless there is someone that just has to have it...
Thanks everyone! My friend is going to heed all the expert advice and pass on this one. Besides, he really wants a 328. Keith www.race-tones.com Ferrari-powered ringtones
For 35K, he can buy HuskerBill's black 328, or the Grigio one on Ferrariads. Both 'higher' mileage cars, though not compared to mine
