Whatever happened to the one off Intermeccanica Italia IMX show car?

I remember seeing this car in magazines because some dim-wit dolly was sprawled all over the hood (good thing it's steel or was it fiberglass?) I think the switch to quad headlamps was a bad idea. I can't tell if the side vents are functional. Was the one off show car drivable? I have never seen a picture of it since 1969.I think if this brand ever soars to Pebble Beach acceptability as a class the factory show cars could be the creme de la creme to display...just as the Iso Grifo one off prototype was the best of the steel bodied Isos at Pebble,
