    Hi all,

earlier this year I almost bought a 550, it didn't work out but hopefully in the next 6 months I can buy a front engined V12 Ferrari.
I was thinking what watch would complement that one, or any actually, and I couldn't think of anything.
    Any ideas?

You could be boring and get a Daytona
    Chopard Mille Miglia chronograph

Do you regularly wear a watch currently? If so, get the car and then see what moves you. If not, I don’t see the car changing your watch habits. As for myself, I don’t think watches accessorize cars. Certain watches get more noticed at car events, e.g. Tom’s point about vintage Heuers and Omegas. As for myself, I don’t have a special Ferrari driving watch. I wear whichever watch I want on any given day.

I think you misunderstood me, I didn't say a watch that costs more than a front engined v12 ferrari ;)

Well, that’s a different situation. Do you have a Hamilton Ventura? Not pricey but retro cool. Then a v72 three register vintage chronograph. Next I’d say a v7734 chronograph. All of these can be had for under $3k depending on the maker. Some 7734s can be had for under $750. Want to spend more than 3k? Zenith ElPrimero DeLuca or Tudor Monte Carlo.

No one's mentioned the Chopard Mille Miglia XL with in house movement? Reasonable, driver's watch, homage to a great event featuring Ferraris, good looking, and versatile.
