Not wearing it yet but will be soon. Heuer Autavia ref. 3646 'Andretti' with Valjoux 92 movement from 1968. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Even though I'm a dealer this is the first Rolex I buy directly from an authorized dealer. It's a keeper though! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Eddie is that a Wimbledon with a silver crown? I have a 41mm SS DJ2 with a grey Roman dial & would love to upgrade to a Wimbledon, but every one I’ve seen has a gold crown. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think the crown color is matched to the basel color. so, a yellow gold basel will have a yellow gold crown. rose - rose. SS/WG - SS/WG. I may be wrong, just what i've noticed.
Hi Robert, the crown is a silver color. Rolex does make a two tone (steel and yellow gold) version and that one has a yellow gold crown. Sometimes the lighting on the high polish center links can be deceptive and make the steel look like gold and vice versa.
Thank you. So, what I am wondering(since yours is apparently the first I’ve seen) is if a “Wimbledon” style dial(w dark green romans) is indeed avail for a SS/WG DJ2 like mine? Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The "Wimbledon" dial is only available on the DJ41 (126300 and 126334 models). Unfortunately the dials are different between your DJII and the DJ41 so they cannot be interchanged. Correction to the above: the DJII did have a Wimbledon dial but only in two tone. I was talking strictly about the steel models above.
Just picked up this brand new Daytona 16500LN, ridiculous premium, but loving it! Image Unavailable, Please Login
