Wonder if any of you could help me Im over from London next Tuesday evening and need to take some business contacts out for dinner. Ive never been to Baltimore so I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of the best local Restaurant?
Douglas, here's the top three restaurants in Baltimore, they are all expensive and require proper attire. -The Oregon Grille, Hunt Valley 410-771-0505 -Tio Pepe, downtown Baltimore 410-539-4675 -The Prime Rib, downtown Baltimore 410-539-1804
La Tavola in Little Italy is very good. I have heard wonderful things about Bicycle in Federal Hill but haven't made it there yet. I had some of the best ribs ever last night at Corner Stable off of York Rd. in Padonia.
Tio Pepe = old world charm, exceptional service and five-star cousine. My clients consistently enjoy the venue
Trax, There are a great variety of good places in baltimore...what do you prefer, Italian, German, Chinese? I might be better able to point you in the right direction.
Probably steak or seafood - you would be surprised at how much better good meat is in America compared to what you get here
If it is business I would recommend the Prime Rib in downtown Baltimore. Coat and tie a must. Excellent Steaks and seafood
I had a pretty good steak at the Radisson near Stansted Airport recently along with a good bottle of Multpliciano de Abbruzzo. If steak is what you'd like try Ruth Cris or Mortons downtown near the inner harbor. I generaly don't eat seafood when I'm out, so others may chime in with their recommendations.
This is the only steak place in London which IMO compares to what I usually eat in Houston or NY http://www.gordonramsay.com/mazegrill/
thanks Trax, I'm planning on being in London next year for a few days and will keep this place in mind. Will
All you can eat brazilian steakhouse for the win! I vote for this as well http://www.fogodechao.com/locations/baltimore.htm
I didn't know there was one in Baltimore! I heard about the one in DC, but have yet to try that out. I agree with Zebra308, Mortons is a good place for steaks. But proper attire is required as well. Bill
Tio Pepe's is great, I would also suggest Kali's Court or Pazo. http://www.kaliscourt.com/home.html http://www.pazorestaurant.com/
I have been to the Marriot many times for work related functions and see Flemmings each time I go--Pretty good food? Always wondered if it was any good...
I was there, but Jennifer wasn't feeling well and we stayed at the hotel that night....Ended up getting a sub from down the street...
