Wonder if any of you could help me

I’m over from London next Tuesday evening and need to take some business contacts out for dinner.
I’ve never been to Baltimore so I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of the best local Restaurant?

Douglas, here's the top three restaurants in Baltimore, they are all expensive and require proper attire.

-The Oregon Grille, Hunt Valley 410-771-0505
    -Tio Pepe, downtown Baltimore 410-539-4675
-The Prime Rib, downtown Baltimore 410-539-1804

I would go with the Prime Rib as Richard mentions - great atmosphere as well as great food.

La Tavola in Little Italy is very good. I have heard wonderful things about Bicycle in Federal Hill but haven't made it there yet. I had some of the best ribs ever last night at Corner Stable off of York Rd. in Padonia.

Probably steak or seafood - you would be surprised at how much better good meat is in America compared to what you get here

If it is business I would recommend the Prime Rib in downtown Baltimore. Coat and tie a must. Excellent Steaks and seafood

I had a pretty good steak at the Radisson near Stansted Airport recently along with a good bottle of Multpliciano de Abbruzzo.

If steak is what you'd like try Ruth Cris or Mortons downtown near the inner harbor.

I generaly don't eat seafood when I'm out, so others may chime in with their recommendations.

I didn't know there was one in Baltimore! I heard about the one in DC, but have yet to try that out.

I agree with Zebra308, Mortons is a good place for steaks. But proper attire is required as well.

Yup, it is right across from ESPN Zone. The Capitol Grille is next door and is supposed to be good.
