I think it's based on a GTE and was Ex Kroymans.

The car is beauty built by Alwin Hietbrink, uses the identity of #3725 but was built on a new chassis , the engine is #4025.

I mean the engine is out of #4025, it was the engine used before in Kroymans GTO for racing.

it is original engine, tuned with somekind of special pistons and has now replica carbs by Roelofs engineering.

The six double carbs have been removed, according to the owner they couldn't get them to work properly with the way the engine is spec'ced; they were replaced with the 3 double throat set-up.

Since it has the outside fuel filler, shouldn't it have the metal plate over the exhaust tip?
Also, the exhaust looks extremely low to the ground.

The metal plate to which you refer was just on the '61 comp cars, I think. Many SWB's had o/s fillers.
