What NON-Dealer mechanic/shop/facility in NYCity specializes in Ferrari service ?

    Looking to pick up a F430. I prefer to have all of my other cars ( Viper & Corvettes) serviced by aftermarket independent shops vs authorized dealers due to personalized service and sometimes better pricing.

    Are there any mechanic shops garages that specialize in Ferrari in NYC or Long Island ? Possibly a factory technician that left the dealership to go out on their own and open up their own independent shop ....like what happens to many other brands ......

    Thank you for replying and posting !!! Great news, I am in Queens NYCity very close to you.....I always prefer to have all work done at independent shops.

    I second Vincenzo Latino at Elite Auto, Tenafly, NJ, right over the GW Bridge. He just did the engine out on my 355GTS. He knows Ferraris inside and out. Fair honest pricing and a great guy.

    Universal Autosports in Long Island is second to none. Give Pete a call they are the absolute best for road and race cars. Currently restoring a 458 GTE that is bananas. Factory 6spd conversion on my CS has been flawless as well as all the other service work they’ve done for me over the years.

    Universal Autosports has been my lead goto mechanic for both my 575M and ‘97 C4S. We’ve had a consistent flawless experience for 5 years running.

    Some of the things that set Universal apart from other shops are:

    Always great communication, flexible and accommodating , insightful servicing, broadly experienced spanning decades of models. Probably the cleanest shop anyone has ever encountered.

    Pete has a great “bedside manner” that I have found is often times lacking from the independent shops.

    I’ve previously worked with & now send all of my Ferrari clients to Luigi Scala for any multitude of factory trained Ferrari servicing. In the past 24 years, I have had ZERO complaints with Luigi’s work!

    Congratulations to Scuderia 110 for having Luigi join their team.
