My new daily. 700 miles in and I’m thoroughly impressed. Once I hit the break in point I can really enjoy it. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you. These really have a cult like following. I had no idea how much attention it would attract.
In my experience it's good attention. When I had mine 99% of the people thought it was a retiree wagon and never gave it a second look, and 1% of the people who were car enthusiasts knew what they were looking at and gave it their appreciation. So super sleeper most of the time and appreciated by car peoples ... win/win. I like the RS6A but that one is 'look at me' everywhere it goes ... I don't mind that in my sports cars but I don't need to be the center of attention at Trader Joe's.
Yes definitely good attention. I really didn't care for the RS6A. I was after a fast luxury wagon and the RS6A fell a bit short on the lux side.
Really? You think so? I saw one on the road yesterday in Daytona Grey and it looked quite pedestrian albeit still very nice.
Added one more to the rotation ... but more of a weekend driver. 2600 mile, one owner 2012 SLS ... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I rotate between the 488, 2020 FGT and the 2021 911 TurboS Cab (992). The FGT is my fav for shorter trips to and from work adn for my own pure driving pleasure, the Fcar the best combo-- visceral and fun for the driver and also pleasant for the passenger or medium trips, the 992 the best for a daily driver and long trips and when you are tired of the attn. I drive the 3 above exclusively-- regardless of rain, day of the week adn put about 3K miles per year on each. If I need more people I drive the supercharged Hennessey Escalade ESV 650hp (but that's literally less than 1X per 2 months). Long trips we take my wifes S550 (awesome long trip car).
That it did …but it sure stuck to the road. I just turned mine in at the end of the lease I already miss it Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Nice! Here’s my daily. Have considered a Urus on many occasions, but simply don’t want to daily a Lambo and deal with the attention every day, leave it in airport parking while I travel, etc. For me, the Audi is a great, relatively inexpensive daily that meets my needs well. It does get a bit of attention. Car guys know exactly what it is and are happy to chat you up. Most other people have no idea except they know somethings amuck with the wheels/brakes and rumble. Image Unavailable, Please Login
2012 458 & 2019 812SF - daily status rotates between 2013 Raptor, 2021 F250, or 2018 GT350. Would love to get an RS6 next year!
Unless you buy and then you have indefinite amount of months without a payment. Like I said. My DD is a '14 CLS 63S and I could not possibly be happier. Even more without a payment for a few years now. The cars has been nothing short of great and reliable.
That is the way to do it. Keep mileage low on all cars, proper maintenance and they will last you an eternity... Close to one, at least.
