We all put up with a lot of nonsense watching various tv series ... poor script writing, predictable story lines, and as of late so much virtue signaling. Whatever.

Just got in to For All Mankind (spoiler Alert) and watched 2 episodes of a young boy dying of brain injuries after a bike accident while his dad was stuck on the moon and his mom was laying out his funeral clothes. Is this really entertainment? I don’t find anything gripping or entertaining about watching perhaps the most gut wrenching thing a parent could go through. Maybe it’s me.

It’s better now than when I had to watch:
    — Three’s Company
    — Fantasy Island
    — Mork & Mindy
    and so on....

    Or, on a sick day:
    — Gomer Pyle
    — The Munsters
    — Gillian’ s Island
    — The Beverly Hillbillies

True, almost no 70s or 80s shows hold up today comedies or dramas. But dramas today are so much more disturbing. This story line just went too far for me.

The commercials are fairly predictable as well.

"Resident Alien" has had some funny scenes.
