458 What is this part by the rear sway bar bushing?

    I have a 2012 458 with under 10,000 miles. It was garaged in California for the past 9 years and as far as I know, it never saw rain. I removed the rear right wheel well cover the other day and saw a small part with some rust on it. It's right by the sway bar. Can anybody tell me what this is and any guesses why the left side of it might be covered with rust but the right side looks as pristine as the rest of the engine?
