That question has been asked a few times without a definitive answer. In https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/just-went-from-430-to-458-thoughts-and-questions.379596/ it was believed " . . . that it indicates that Satellite Data is active and receiving traffic information." I remember another thread discussing it, but can't currently find it. I think the answer was the same in that one. Hopefully someone can answer definitively.

Specifically, "Also, for those of you with Sirius SAT, make sure you've set up the dynamic traffic information. If it's receiving data, you'll see little cars/traffic icon in the right TFT when you have the infotainment screen up. Make sure you pick the alert setup, even if you're not using NAV, you can get a picture of any traffic ahead. Accuracy in large metro areas is pretty impressive so far."
