Agree with the books comments. Buying a car without books and tools is fine so long as it is factored into the price. I'll add that there are few recent examples of cars being sold with books, tools, and borranis, and then quickly being re-sold w/o said items for the same price soon afterwards. So it pays to do a little research prior to buying, to see if you can determine what was supposed to go with the car, and negotiate from there.
I've got a good original toolbag and would rather buy repro tools from Parker Hall and reprint the owner's manual off a CD, than buy trashy old stuff for huge prices. Low priority, anyway, especially for a Series I 330.
