What is the first year of the F12?

IIRC the F12 was unveiled at Geneva ( March 2012) so first MY should have been 2012 even though first cutomers cars were probably not delivered before the summer.

 

F12 Berlinetta chassis #186615 (red metallic) and 186617 (matt silvergrey) were presented at the Geneva Motor Show 8-18 March 2012.
Last F12 Berlinetta to be built will be Juy 2017 (before Ferragosto, annual summer closure of factory in August 2017 and change of assembly line to 812 SF).

That brings up an interesting point; where did the 812 SF show cars get built? On the F12 line or?

Don't know about other differences but the 16 and 17 cars have different screen graphics on the dash, CarPlay was also an option with these updated screens. I believe the original ones are the same as the 458 and the 16/17 more similar to the 488.

Socket for plug-in of battery tender was moved from inside trunk left corner to outside of car near rear license plate. No more need to open trunk lid.

If its like any other Ferrari it probably happened at a random date with an extended change-over

 

He must be referring to the 812. My charger slot on my 2017 F12 is inside the trunk...not outside of the car.

 

Mine too, 2017 F12 delivered last week. Charging point in the trunk.

 

I dont think so....

 

I also think they make running changes/ improvements to these cars. They might not reveal these to the general public.
