My shop that my car is at isn’t a wheel expert by any means and so I just waisted money on a set of carbon wheels that now rub badly.

I need to know what is your wheel size for the wide body GT3 458 car.

    Please help!

Oh, man. Dude! Usually the wheel manufacturer can assist with this. Can it be fixed with spacers or more bodywork?

It would take some work to make them fit. The wheel company had the shop take some measurements but they were wrong. Waisted $25K on carbon wheels and now they are only for show on my wall. :(

Whoever measured your wheels that is incorrect is responsible to get it corrected. You paid the company to get it right so they should fix it than make you eat the cost.

I found most wheel manufacturers tend to error on the aggressive side and then expect you to either cut or roll your fenders. This is unacceptable in my opinion, so I just picked my own offsets and I'm very happy with the way my wheels came out.

As one more alternative you can try, try to run a skinnier tire. For example if you're running a 305 30 20, go down to a 295 30 etc and you may find a much cheaper way to keep those beautiful Wheels.
Generally, a slightly stretched wheel (skinnier)will have better feedback than a wider tire on the same rim... So that's just another bonus

And lastly, if you run out of wall space, I'll put them on my wall lol

This is a great point. Wheels NEVER rub, it’s the TIRES.

Wheels will rub on suspension, brake lines, and ducting.

We still don't know where they are rubbing.

Only if the offset is too high or the wheels too small for the calipers, I can guarantee that is not the issue here.

The OP says his car has a widebody kit. Im sure the wheels he ordered are pushed way outboard.

I think the real undiscussed issue here is that the shop building the car, like so many such shops, probably can’t afford to eat a set of $25k wheels. So what is the owner supposed to do?

The tire is rubbing on the inner frame in the front. Lower section. I can fix the front by placing a spacer. I have about a half of inch clearance from the GT3 fenders outer edge. This is without inner fender liners. I have but not sure if it will rub on top from tire.

The rear section rubs just barely on the outer edge of carbon fender arches( widebody).

Brixton and Mike Ham from Vivid came up with the measurements. I asked Mike like 10 times if they new the correct offset and I was told they did! Many time. @Vivid Motorsports.

Update: I have reached out to Vivid Motorsports and found that Mike Ham doesn’t work anymore for the company. I was told to speak to Ashley in wholesale and we spoke and I had asked her to look at all emails involving my agreement with Mike Ham regarding the wheels and that Brixton Forged would replace all the wheels because they got the offset wrong on front and rear also the Carbon weave was not done is plain 1x1 weave carbon.

I haven’t heard anything from Vivid and nothing from Brixton.

These wheels sat for about a year while the car was supposed to be worked on by a company called
“ Coastline AutoSports Group”, in Walnut CA.

They had my Ferrari for over two years and did not work on my ferrari the whole time. The owner Salvador Sanchez and Juan Carlos Sanchez lied to me and took $60,000 from me and kept lying and telling me made up excuses.

What a disaster, stay away from them! They changed their name so I will post pics of them later maybe in another post.

I need a wheel company to come to the shop and take measurments. I hope Brixton follows through with redoing the wheels so we will see.
