I purchased my '99 355 last summer. I was told it has Tubi Style exhaust, which it does... at least muffler back.

But the headers I don't think are OEM and was wondering if someone can identify them for me?

I think they look like Fabspeed headers, but unsure.

I can't find any markings identifying them.

4-1 header looks like Fabspeed ceramic coated.

    Thanks MAD828.
I was thinking they looked like Fabspeed, but was unsure.

They are definitely coated, didn't even think of ceramic lol.

I want to swap the Tubi exhaust for a Capristo this summer, so I guess I should keep the Fabspeed headers on though?

They’re beautiful. Do they have significant heat reduction with the ceramic? I was wanting to get something like that in my Mondial t but was worried about heat with no heat shield.

They really do not. Running unshielded headers is asking for trouble.

Agree. If your going to switch to a capristo muffler, you should replace the fabspeed with the Tubi headers that have the heat shields. The tubi with the capristo provides the best 355 exhaust note. In for a penny....

i think this is a bit aggressive- I have not heard of anyone experiencing major issues while running fabspeeds. Sure if your headers fail put in a set of tubis but to proactively replace them seems excessive. Make sure you have the metal reflector shields protecting the alternator. They will cook engine mounts faster but at most you’re talking 1000$ between majors. The capristo on the other hand, HUGE upgrade.
