Goddam I love Lava... I'm currently watching some pictures of GL maserati cars It cound fit that mysterious Tdf... LOL CH... Did that picture woke up some Lombardian blood in you ? GL triple layer GL... I f____n' love that color. http://www.maseratifl.com/image/viewer.htm?imageUrl=|photos-url|&itemId=8d4a31070a0a00e00f4bba650c270f6d&category=AUTO&showViewLink=false https://pictures.dealer.com/m/maseratioffortlauderdale/0821/00e621f367a7d40e0bf0ffc0de3cc0a9x.jpg https://pictures.dealer.com/m/maseratioffortlauderdale/0928/ea76ab5ddf9d1576addfb325473b3f32x.jpg https://pictures.dealer.com/m/maseratioffortlauderdale/0201/afb42f759bade1f300557f008df5ab54x.jpg
Fascinating color discussion. I think its a little closer to the GL, though I think CdF looks excellent. For what its worth, I think Ferrari has always had better cars, but Maserati has better models!
Seriously ? I won't ask you how you know that ... Just if you're 100% sure !!! CHAMPAGNE for everybody. The Grey Sect has succeed Thank you F12 Kid.
Very nice! I really do love this color but it depends on the shape of the car. CdF works great on the TDF! (My preference would be for diamond finished wheels...)
I went Silverstone for my Lusso although this CDF has me second guessing.... I have always been a sucker for Silverstone
Personally I think you made the right, and cheaper, decision. Personally I now find CDF a little dirty, albeit first time I saw it I loved it, perhaps because it was different.
That's what gave me the idea of a 3-layer which turned-out to show much too much gold when in direct sunlight.....
Olivier, Grigio Lava is a stunning colour in person. Has real high metallic content which I like at lot. This thread should called 50 Shades of Grey! ;-)
Ahahah excellent Idea Justin ! I want to see Lava in flesh so bad. I'll check the website of the Maserati dealers in Paris if they have one on display.
This video has some great close ups which show the paint fleck close up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HD2jGA39SE4&list=PLUwfheqJ3FeaM5EMXKqKY_HJumghecXun
Whilst I will want to see an actual sample at least, that could have my name on it for the M. Don't get too excited DC, Diamond wheels will ruin it for you.....
Tim, As Lava is a three layer and out of range what would Ferrari charge for the paint? In person it looks stunning. I don't know why i didn't think of it for my incoming F12 but if it costs more than Ferro (historical) I might leave it to you Tim for your F12M and buy it off you when you get your F12M(LE) ;-)
A bit lighter than Silverstone. I would say in between Ferro and Silverstone but much more fleck than Silverstone
