In the old days the F1 entrant was always listed as "SpA Ferrari SEFAC" and I always wondered what "SEFAC" stood for. I finally found the answer, in part, on the doorpost of my 328!

As far as I can tell, it stands for
"Societa per il Esercizio Fabbriche Automobili e Corse"
    which loosely translates as
"Company for the Exercise of Fabricating Automobiles and Racing"

If someone can be more precise I'd like to see it.

GmbH = Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung = Ltd. :)

As a teenager I used to read the adventures of Sherlock Holmes in a book that had the English version to the left (even pages) and the German version to the right. What really bugged me: The English version in average occupied just 80% of the page. German might be a very precise language, but in terms of efficiency it sucks ;)
