What does it cost to have a custom rear spoiler made?

    Perhaps Ryalex or someone else can answer this.

    What would it cost to have a custom rear spoiler made in a quality that could even be marketed?

    I have posted a typical whale tail one below, but consider that what I have in mind could be more or less elaborate, but still one piece.

    Also consider that I would be coming with a fibreglass prototype to begin.

    Anyone know?

    unfortunately the company would have to make a mold, especially if you are looking at composite construction. molds get very expensive very quickly. (one aftermarket parts company advertises that molds for car parts can cost up to $150,000 USD, and must be retired at some interval)

    also if you're looking at carbon fiber construction. the price of CF is rapidly going up due to increased demand from boeing, airbus, and china among others
