Looking at a 34.000 km (21.000 mile) 550 for a reasonable price. Mechanically its healthy based on a check by local official dealer. AC compressor is getting replaced by a renovated part, that was all they found.
Cosmetically and interior looks honest. So does the mechanicals as far as I can tell haven't driven it yet. Salty roads here..

    I have two hesitations:
    • Service history is ok based on kilometers driven, but many years have gone between services. (see attached).
    • Aside from sticky buttons and a few other minor stuff, it started a bit rough, caught after 3 rotations and puffed a small dark cloud. Before starting, it had supposedly stood for a few weeks on a charger without being run. Official dealer experienced nothing on their startups of the car and they said it was ok when the car is cold and has been standing. Is this correct? I only have second hand information here.
I attach the service history. First service and belts was done by a specialist, which is the given reason for it not being in the service book. These are attached as letter scans. This checks out, as the customer is documented as the original owner of the car.
Besides of the first few years, it has covered little milage, which I'm guessing is the reason for few stamps in the book. But what is your expert take on this?

I look forward to you thoughts. Thanks a bunch!

There are no stamps in my warranty book, but complete separate service records. Not a problem if you have that and it fills in all the details and years.

No, that makes sense. But I don't think there is anything else but what is attacheded here

In that case, it looks like a lot of annual and other services were skipped, but she has been serviced lately. If you want her, just make sure everything is brought up to date and have someone check her over and make sure nothing is wrong as a result of the missed services. You might want to get a compression and bleed-down check done to ensure the valve guides and rings are in good shape.

Can you tell when the belts were last changed? The requirement changed from 50,000 kms to 3 years in the 550's lifespan, now generally accepted as 5 years between changes.

Good idea on the compression test. As the car is still with the dealership before going back to seller, I might get that squeezed in.

Last service has just been done the other day at the dealership. It's up for belts next summer, if sticking to the 3 year plan

Five year interval for cambelts is fine. The 550 uses the same belts, pulleys, tensioners and cambelt hardware as the 575M, and it is 5 years for the 575M.

Unbelievable, the price for front and rear tires.

I get 3 sets fresh Michelin PSS for this price !!!
    (included mounting)

TÜV and emission check is factor 3 of official charges.

Daniel- Affirmative, 2700 euros does seem like it has quite a bit of profit built in for 4 tires. 25 euros for a liter of oil is kind of high, too.
