My first trip to London years ago I asked for iced tea as a simple drink. That threw them into tizzy to find ice. Think it came with about four ice cubes.
I went to London in 1994, post 6th grade for me, when my uncle was working/living there. The one take away is they don't like ice even when you ask for it.
Its all of Europe, but they have gotten a lot better about it over the years. Nowadays they will even bring it without asking sometimes if they think you are American

I'm not a big egg fan but boiled eggs are my preferred way. But I "boil" them in the oven. Just set in cup cake trays and bake. I do think the yolks come out creamiest when steamed. And I just ate a boiled egg sandwich for dinner.
