Chic fil a is better. But the Wendy's used to be really good. Neither leave me feeling great afterwards lol.
Carolina's again. So damn good! Beef hard taco and chorizo & potato burro: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Have you been to Julio G's? Their spinach queso is my favorite, but Blanco Taco's & Tequila has my favorite nachos.
I decided to try Freebirds again after my last less than stellar experience. It was terrible. Didn't even taste like Freebirds. And I'm pretty sure the cilantro rice I had was actually the other rice. Such a shame because it used to be so great.
I really enjoyed them. The bacon had brown sugar in it as packaged. Sort of made the potato taste like candied yams. Cinnamon would have paired well with it. I only salted these. I think a non sugared bacon would go better on a Russett or other (non sweet) potato. On my second batch, once the spuds were soft, I pressed the lid down to somewhat flatten the potato wedges for more even cooking of the bacon. I wrap corn on the cob with bacon after peeling back the husk, then relayered them back on over the bacon to go to the grill. Corn tastes of bacon-bacon tastes of corn.
Today is a bunch of great middle eastern food: Image Unavailable, Please Login And Ania insisted that I also post this “Arabic Coffee” that they have. It’s strong, but flavored with cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and other spices. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Mint Indian on Shea near the 101. Middle Easter Bakery on 16th and Osborn. Meet us for lunch buffet at Mint someday!
One of these weekends, we'll definitely have to meet up there. Hard to do on weekdays, my office is 20 miles away
I bought two artichokes last week with the intent of stuffing them with breadcrumbs but am having a bit of guilt over my food choices this past weekend. At any rate, this is the result. A little chicken broth, evoo, parmesan and red pepper flakes. A nice little red carpet appetizer... Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tell us more about the coffee, please. - One Carne Asada Taco, Rice, Beans with a Safeway "Sushi" Sampler Chaser. Hopefully they clear up remnants of Sinus Infection. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-J727A using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Good call by Ania. Love a nice, thick cup or three of spiced Arabic coffee in the AM. I add a little nutmeg to mine, in addition to cardamom and cinnamon. T
I think I did once before, but if you insist! I have an 8 oz ibrik. Fill almost to top. 3 heaping teaspoons of finely ground coffee. Five shakes of cardamom powder. (Yeah, I know, should be toasting the pods and grinding as needed, but I'm a lazy cuss! ). A couple shakes of good Korantje cinnamon. A little freshly ground nutmeg, or if I don't, a single shake of ground nutmeg. Three boils with a little stirring along the way. And (wax, you may want to look away since this is not following normal Turkish coffee protocol!) a final vigorous stir to break up the foam and help the grinds settle. I don't like sugar in my coffee, nor grinds, much to the annoyance of my Turkish friend. About 5 min to cool during which I throw together a matcha green tea smoothie for the wife and I. Get about 3 demitasse cups. This and my smoothie and I'm ready to face the day until I have yogurt and granola mid morning. Oh yeah, if I'm driving the Ferrari that morning, cut coffee consumption in half! T
Yum I’m at the Thali place right now waiting for them to open. Fun fact - my city is almost 1/2 Polish 1/2 Indian, the rest are “Canadian”. So there’s always wicked food to be had Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
The owner said "and one Turkish Coffee" when he created the bill, so perhaps their "Arabic coffee" is essentially the same as Turkish Coffee (if that helps).
Whoa, that's interesting...Ania is Polish of course, but she LOVES India...sounds like her kinda city...which one is it?
I think the subtle diff may be the spices added. It is my understanding that Turkish is no (less?) spice than Arabic. The latter has spices, most notably cardamom. T
Mississauga Ontario So many Polish stores and Indian places. The town north of us is called “Bramladesh” instead of the proper name “Brampton” lol. Once I took the kids to the deli without my wife and they were concerned we wouldn’t get what we want “How are you going to order?” (My wife is fluent and I’m not Polish). This is where my Thali was from today - check out their locations lol http://www.premiumsweets.ca/ca/home Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
