WOOHOO heads came off late Thursday, head gaskets stuffed,Marc is quite confident they're the cause of the water ingress and the rust stain that initiated the whole procedure.,last replaced 1999/2000 when rebuilt.
Some wearing to the lobes,7-12 on one of the camshafts due to lack of lube.Looking for an inlet,LH bank camshaft.

A great find. As I ended up sourcing non chrome and spent good money on a chrome job(expensive like a nose job😃). I ordered one by the part number you provided just to see. $90. I will have it today. I will have a quote on the visor clips today

That is a great find on the interior lights as I've searched for years to find one. Thanks!

    Good day Darren,

The lights are not that hard to find...it is finding the lights that have a chrome trim and not black is the tough part! They do come up from time to time on Ebay and the Ebay prices were about 20-50% higher than what Al found!... Thanks again Al for a great find!

    Cheers,

    Sam

I got the Porsche light. The metal part is black! Not chrome. Also it is an on/ off position. The original is three position. Did your lamp come chrome?

Camshaft found(and possibly one for Mitch as well) and received,4 x valve springs broken(the culprit).
New valve guides going in,timing cover coming off to check odd whiring noise when engine turned off.
