Nope, I had one a few years ago, the 70-200mm f2.8 non-IS. Loved it, but didn't use it enough and sold it and bought the 5D. It's fantastic for track days, but having a $1200 lens and only using it once or twice a year wasn't brilliant.
I posted a horrible cell phone picture in the silver section. I'll post it here too though: Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm going to try to...I went to one recently and loved it. I could do without the ricey looking cars though. The Lotus Cup race was fun to watch though.
Not enough around me, both tracks are at least 3 hours away and I don't think there is a single Ferrari track day scheduled this year. I might end up going down to GA for the national meet though.
nice camera Ashy! I recently bought a Fuji Finepix 3200 on the recommendation of my sister, who is a big photog nerd. So far I like it. it's like a DSLR for morons (i.e. me)
I have a gopro, I just haven't done anything with the videos yet (they aren't nearly as exciting to watch as one would think)
B E A U tiful. looks like you got a nice piece of glass up front too. Glad to see we're on the same page about cell phone pics
I just bought an EOS 550D and the abilities of the camera are fantastic: http://www.flickr.com/photos/v15ben/5607646647/
Got my D7000 earlier and love it. I've been using a 6 year old camera for the last 2 years so the leap in technology is astounding. Though I keep forgetting how much smaller a crop sensor really is. Here is a random shot of my dog, heading out to see what I can get outside, but it's pretty cloudy so not a great day. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, it's actually just the 18-135mm kit lens, I did buy that cheapo lens hood, but it's actually well made. Same page? I thought you didn't have one
Since 2005 i have been playing with a nikon D50, now i got my nikon D7000 to play with. I have been donated $500+ lens even by a very talented flickr friend D700 user. Another flickr contact gifted me a pro account.
A Canon T2i ! I love this thing. Check out my photostream if you have time! http://www.flickr.com/photos/minhimalism/ Image Unavailable, Please Login
