Rather confusing set of descriptions (car ads) out there regarding the seat options in the 360.
Would someone be so kind to post a few pics/descriptions of the different 360 seat options that were available?

Standard (manual) seats vs. power seats vs. sport seats?
What are "daytona seats" exactly.... is this just another term for a power seat?
Carbon fiber seat backs another term for sport seats?

Thanks very much in advance for any clarification/pictures you can provide!

You aren't that far from correct.

Manual & Power are just that, It specifies how the seat is adjusted.

Standard & Daytona are two different styles of upholstery:
    - Standard seats have bands all the way across the center of the seats
    - Daytona seats have perforated bands intermixed. These are often a different color

Sport seats are different. They are more like a racing seat and, as far as I know, they are all manual. The base shell can be either fiberglass or carbon fiber. There is obviously a difference in weight and strength but they are the same shape shells.

Others may have pictures or take the time to find some and post here. I don't have that much time right now but there are lots of pictures of all of these seats. Look at any CS and you will see sport seats. You should be able to easily identify the other two.

You definitely sit lower in the sport seats. When I had my 360 I put the c/f sport seats in so that I would sit lower because I had to kind of hunch over in the electric daytona's. There is no height adjustment in the maual sport seats.

I'm presuming this was a Modena, as I've been told one can't convert to a racing seat from power seats in a Spider...

Oh, ok... I have seen all 3 of them then. I was pretty sure I knew what the sport seats looked like, just wasn't sure what daytonas were. I've seen the "bands" on boths as you've described. Thanks.

Why did they make both standard and daytonas... purely a visual, or do the daytonas provide more support, more comfy, or ???

Sport seats definitely sit lower. I am considering them because I am very tall.

The difference is primarily visual. BUT, many people have said that the standard seats are more comfortable than Daytona seats. They say that the strip down the middle can cause pressure points.

In reality how a seat is has a lot to do with your physique and height. You should sit in both then make a decision.

I was almost crippled driving in the Daytona seats for a 300 mile drive. I had to do so much hunching to see properly that my shoulders were killing me for days. After I put the sport seats in there was no more pain. I'm on the taller side so they worked very well for me.

OEM sport/racing seats are a CF shell, covered in either leather or Alcantara and are manually operated only.

Ok, I will play, here are 2 pics of my standard seat. Notice in pic one there are no electric controls at the bottom of the seat. You manual move the seat forward from a bar at the front right corner and then control for lumbar and seat back are on the side, you can see those big dials in the pic. The lever on the side simply moves the seat back forward to access the small storage behind the seats.
I actually preferred this seat to the power daytona, to bummpy for me.

    Great pictures, thanks all.

Clearly sport seats are shapped differently, but a little hard to tell from the pics.... are the bolsters on the daytonas and standards the same? Is the only difference the middle section/insets?

I have standard seats in my 360M which tend to get a little uncomfortable after doing a couple of hours driving. My previous 355 had CF sports seats (leather/alcantara) and I had no such problems. Maybe this is because of the different car setups - I'm not sure.
