Dear all, I want to change the wheels of my 348tb... Original rims seems to be heavy and old style looking. My favourite wheels are BBS, like Andy Hill uses on his car. But I don't have any pictures. What are your ideas? Marc
I'm partial to the Speedline Challenge wheels. They are period correct, lightweight, and look cool in white, black, and grey/silver. At 18", there are slightly more tire options too.
I like the BBS style wheels Tom Clark has (or had) on his car. I also saw a local car with similar wheels, but they were 19 inch and they damaged the fenders, so stay with 17 or 18 max. I second this option. If I ever change the wheels on my 355 from stock, the only ones I would consider are the challenge wheels. I feel the same for the 348s of the world.
With properly sized tires, the overall diameter shouldn't change. Fender damage is a result of improper tire size or improper wheel offset, not wheel diameter.
This or that... it's a difficult decision but I'm leaning towards the black ones. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
As y'all know I am partial to 360 wheels on a 348... They look good and are priced right as the 360 folks upgrade to 430 or aftermarket wheels. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Whatever wheels copterjon has on his car! Those are gorgeous wheels, he also has upgraded brakes & discs and they really fit. Image Unavailable, Please Login Or the Challenge wheels on ingenere's old 348, now Chupacabras: Image Unavailable, Please Login
