The title is pretty self explanatory- what are the physical (appearance) differences between the LM and GTE that help you tell them apart?

(for the Search Nazi's- there is one topic comparing the differences between the different F40 varients- but it seems to only cover the different engine modifications... Here: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10476&highlight=f40+gte+lm)

    Thank you!

looks like the GTE has a 3rd duct on the side of the car at the very bottom and a carbon fiber front spoiler, now, i don't know if those 2 things are stock or custom options

"The GTE was a sort of Evolution of the LM which was the racing version of the F40.It started racing in 94.

Both were developped and built by Michelotto.

The GTE had 3 engines choices depending on which track it was racing ( 3.0, 3.5 and 3.6 ) . It could make as much as 800 hp without restricors..

It was lighter , and a 333 SP sourced-6 speed sequential gearbox. All of which , the LM didnt have.

The 96 GTE , also known as GTE II , had an Xtrac sequential gearbox and carbon brakes and clutch"-amenasce

    cheers.
