    Hi all,

    Posted this question in the Natalie Portman thread ... and I'm not the only one to wonder, so I guess it deserves a thread of its own. :)

    So all you movie freaks out there ... what is the mythic alternate ending? The one I've seen everytime is when Leon blows himself up with Stansfield in the building (just as we thought he was gonna make it) and Mathilda goes back to school and puts the plant in the ground.

    What's the other?

    BTW, great movie. Had not seen it in a while ... enjoyed it a lot! :)

    I have both the standard American release (The Professional) and the more risque Leon on DVD. Don't recall the alternate ending, but I haven't watched either in a very long time. I'll check them out for you when I get home tonight and report back.

    Sorry to disappoint, but there's no alternate ending on either the American release or international uncut version.
