Curious what company most Massachusetts owners are using for insurance? Are you guys all using a mainstream company like Commerce Insurance, or a specialty insurance company like Hagerty?

Laws vary state by state ( and even company by company policies) on "collector car insurance", and "weekend car" or "low mileage" car insurance so what are most of the MA guys using?

I've used Arbella (though Eastern Ins. as agent) for many years for all our cars. I have been very happy with the service of both companies and the pricing for Arbella. When I bought the 612 my agent checked with Hagerty, but the restrictions were too .... well restrictive.

I too am an agent. Have my home and all my cars with AIG, best prices in the Mass marketplace and I am able to shop everything as we represent all carriers in Mass. Final price will depend on where you live, driving record, model owned, age of car etc. best way to save money is have your homes and all cars with the same carrier to maximize multi policy discounts. Happy to help anyone looking for a quote. Send me a PM and we will get our Private Clients Group to check the marketplace for you.

Tim, what year and make? for antiques, I only go with Heacock Classic. Same underwriter as most of them, lower prices... I quoted them all. AIG as well

I have a relative who went with American Collectors, not sure if they do MA. Price was also decent for an 80s Ferrari

I'm currently getting taken for 400 bucks a month through Commerce Insurance for my 360 and my S2000 ( full coverage on both ). In august I will qualify for the low mileage discount on the 360, so I'll see what the price is then, and after that I'll decide if I want to switch

This is my second year with Grundy for my Mondial t. Agreed upon value (I got my own independent appraisal to provide a value), no errands, no going to school or work, no mileage limit + no revs limit!

skip commerce... try Amica. Not sure about the S2000, but the 360 is worth quoting at the collector insurers/ They offer 1k-maybe 5k miles a year, some dont care (Amer collectors)
