It's getting close to Spring (I hope!). The date is Saturday the 6th of April and the start time is 10:00 am. As with previous Drives, there will be a rest stop in the middle and a nice restaurant at the end about four hours later. The starting location and general information will be PMed to those on the sign-up list. Please include a "+1" if you will have a navigator. Thanks! 1. DonB +1 2.
Only caveat being, I may take the Benz. Frankly, I don't trust you guys not to stick us on ultra tight back roads with gravel and mud Not fun in my TR!
1. DonB +1 2. AlanRS +1 likely 3. Curtisc63 +1 (Hopefully) 4. JoeZaff +1 5. Ferris Bueller 6. No dirt roads required. There may be one like the Mason-Dixon had with a bypass written in the Route Instructions. Twistys are expected though.
Put me down, will look to bring the GT-R or M3. Im tired of this weather and need the backroads again!

C-w-O-u-U-s-G-s-H! C'mon Joe - the TR is meant to be driven. They like twisties as much as any other car... You will learn to enjoy it. But if you insist on driving the MB I will make sure and bring the afghan to make sure you stay warm. It might be a bit chilly.
I'd love to make this event, provided you gentlemen will abide my plebian Cosworth Subaru (that puts down 441hp at the wheels).
Of the twelve people who have signed up, only the Subaru guy saw the need to mention his horsepower. Listen, size doesn't matter - you're trying too hard!
I seem to remember a white TR on several back road drives . . . and didn't have to wait for it to catch-up. Is this an Old People joke? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm in as well. 1. DonB +1 2. AlanRS +1 likely 3. Curtisc63 +1 (Hopefully) 4. JoeZaff +1 5. Ferris Bueller 6. Oakes 7. Barry (Green308GTSi) 8. ztarum +1 likely 9. Lou and Eli 10. Wait a minute....your "old people" reference reminded me that this stop made for a great "pee break." Not that there's anything wrong with being old and needing a pee break on one of our drives....
Hey lets not bust on the Subaru guy....I love my Subaru. It is the best Doggie Utility Vehicle (DUV) I have ever owned!! I however have no idea how much horsepower it delivers but it delivers smiles every time I drive it and Biame seems to consider it his favorite car of the fleet. Regardless I will be in the Scud... Jon in the Salt Covered Suburu STI Hatch back.
It's not the mention of the Subaru, it's the HP. Next thing Nick will be telling us about how his 356 Speedster broke the dyno...again! Nick, I hope you can arrange your schedule to be up here for the drive. Since one 911 is in Houston and the other is in the museum you can be my navigator if you want to have a bit of fresh air during the drive.
