4 carbs that will need attention...and may or may not cooperate on cold starts.....everything else the same as an injected car...which will always start.....but commanding twice the money......okeyyy.

I really like when I see those ads. My car was the twin of this one in color combo. I don't care about my car value but it is kind of gratifying to see them go up if they really do.

For that kind of that money I would sell my yellow GTB (37K miles indicated) with complete and functioning smog equipment!

For 70k they could have at least put the correct mirrors and xwx on the car.

Nice color combo for sure !

You guys are too funny. There are probably just as many people out there that want the car without cats as want it with cats and totally original.

I love the "Our Price" vs price. Does that mean he will be paying 68,500 for the car. Lots of these guys put up ridiculous prices hoping to get someone who feels they get a bargain at 40K. But who knows, one person looking for a nice early GTB may have just hit lotto.

I may stop by today or tomorrow to talk with Mike and ask why they think that price is reasonable. Then maybe I'll ask him to make me an offer on my GTB QV. :)

Wayne is actually a pretty nice guy. He contributes a lot of time to charity, in particular, autism. Shows up at local car shows.....

Really? You mean the previous owner didn't want the car running hot, like crap, heavy, and ugly under the engine bay? Who woulda think it. People are whining about the smog gear not being in place? I'd gladly pay to have it removed as the car simply wasn't intended to have it in the first place, their hand was forced by the US and it's asinine green police. The nicest GTBs on the planet had their smog gear junked just as they should have been too (Paul Newman's restored GTBs). When was the last time we saw a Boxer owner keep their US standardized bumper equipment to bring the car into the country? Or a concours Dino with some of the original equipment they might have had? We could go on for days with this. So this particular car can't go to California and a couple other places, boo hoo, there's plenty of other buyers in other places and Nice early pre cat GTBs don't have any problem selling these days.

I should add that I heard a couple months ago that a federal emission law is coming down the pike probablg in the next few years relaxing many states standards. An assistant atty in our local congressman office and I were chatting about it at a mediation a couple months back. It sounds very possible.

I saw on the C.C.C. website that in the next episode Wayne finds three 308's in a garage I would imagine this is one of them.

Love Roger! Fun show to watch. Regarding prices, I've noticed that often on the show the cars bring in less than Wayne expects. but I'd love to see him get his price on the 308!

There don't seem to be many 308's sitting around at dealers here in the northeast most go fast when they come up for sale.

The best cars seem to often change hands without anyone ever knowing about it, until it's done that is.

You guys see what nice early GTBs are bringing outside the US these days? It's bananas. Several US cars are going straight overseas lately, but it seems Wayne is catching on and demanding equivalent rates.

FYI, I looked up the vin on the GTB registry. Says the car was originally silver, then yellow. Now it appears it's back to silver. Too cold to go look at it today. Maybe tomorrow. But pictures seem to suggest that the car was painted and that's about it. Seats look good in the pics but arm rest and door storage compartment on driver's door seems scuffed. leather is coming off dash around steering wheel. One defroster vent looks warped. Engine compartment looks clean but not restored as evidenced by rust spots and chips on the air cleaner.

Do you suppose it had the red interior from the start? Yellow/red, hmmm.
