It's a Ball. I bought one for my Dad from Valencia Time Center. Send VTChris a PM.

Do some more research on them first before you buy. I had a customer bring one to my shop and he's had a few issues with it since new. Not sure what movement this one has but the one he brought in had a fairly pricey & complicated movement compared to what the watch was worth. As a result, servicing it wasn't exactly cheap.

    Ok, I googled it.

At first blush, I wondered if there might be some connection to the Ball Brothers --- Ball Corporation, Ball Aerospace, etc. But, apparently they are entirely unrelated --- just different folks with the same last name.

New I think their watches are high teens to low $3k range. I think they're definitely interesting but forget about resale on it. Are you ok with spending $400 to $500 to service a watch that's worth 1k?

For 3k-4k you can find some neat used Ulysse Nardine watches. Same movement in some models as these Ball watches but the brand recognition is a lot bigger. Actually brand recognition is basically 0 for Ball. For anything under 3k I would rather go for a Tag or Omega.

Sadly it can be $700 to service an Omega that's worth $1.5k. :( Ask me how I know.

Ball watches are, I think, a great value and mine, when I had it, was incredibly accurate and the ONLY watch I ever owned that I could really see in the dark.

It was not a moon phase, just a regular engineer watch. But it was great.

Passed it down to my oldest son, already, as it wasn't getting as much wrist time as it deserved.

They do seem to have run up in price some since I got mine, which at the time was under a grand from Chris at Valencia.

I don't think VTC carries them anymore.

I miss that one a bit.

exactly why I want one. This particular "Engineer Ohio Moonphase" is really cool because the moon is luminous, and the later ones were plain.
