There is A LOT to understand when it comes to warranty options offered by the factory.
I've tired my best to simplify all of the current offerings and options below.
I suggest reaching out to your Dealership point of contact to discuss your actual Ferrari

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Service contracts offer customers a wide range of practical benefits, from peace of mind to expert care and prevention against unexpected expenses. This makes service contracts a valuable investment for anyone looking to enhance the longevity, reliability, and performance of their Ferraris.

Below you can find important updates and changes highlighted with “New

These updates went into effect beginning on January 1, 2025.

    Warranty and Service Contract Coverages:

    Manufacturer’s Warranty
The new car warranty called “Manufacturer’s Warranty” remains unchanged, providing new vehicles with
    3-year bumper to bumper coverage.

This is the most comprehensive warranty, covering almost all parts of the vehicle except for specific exclusions such as wear-and-tear items (brake pads, tires, etc.).

Please refer to the specific vehicle Warranty Booklet for more details.

    Extended Coverage Plus Service Contract
The “Extended Coverage Plus” is an additional coverage option that can be added either at the vehicle purchase or later. It provides extra protection after the original Manufacturer’s Warranty expires. For more details regarding this service, please reach out to your Ferrari Dealership point of contact. Then you may review an actual contract accessible via MODIS

    Timeline coverage versus car age
The Extended Coverage Plus can be used to cover from year 4 to year 8 of life of the car
New -> extended the coverage from year 7 to year 8

This is a new option to give clients the possibility to obtain comprehensive coverage even if not continuous.

New -> if the program is activated after a period of no coverage, the activation of the Extended Coverage Plus service contract is subject to the vehicle inspection based on the “Come-Back Checklist”.

    Applicability
This option is applicable to all listed models, including PHEV models:

    Notes
Reminder, all exclusions that are valid for cars with the Manufacturer’s Warranty, are also valid for Extended coverage Plus Service contracts.
Refer to the Warranty Booklet and Contract.

    Power16 Service Contract
The Power16 program protects Ferrari's main components, including the engine, transmission, suspension, steering and electrical system. For all details on conditions and exclusions, please refer to the contract accessible on Modis.

New -> no activation of Power16 before year 8 of the car.

New-> coverage extended until age 16.

    Request of activation and submission

General condition for all contract activations:

Below are some of the most important conditions that could void activation or invalidate the contract:

    - the vehicle is not serviced in accordance with the maintenance schedule set by Ferrari and listed in the Manufacturer's Warranty Booklet.

    - modifications have been made, without specific authorization from Ferrari.

    - before activating, the vehicle must undergo a separate technical inspection, performed by Service Network. The vehicle must meet the parameters listed in the specific model check list. Activation of the formula is subject to the approval of Ferrari.

    - Ferrari reserves the right to verify the technical eligibility of the vehicle, together with the Dealer/Ferrari Authorized Dealer Network.

    Thanks much!
I am quite puzzled on why dealers would quote me $6,900 and $7,900 for POWER warranty on v8 when it states $5,400 in your post. Is that Dealer markup?

if you want to private message me the dealership names and the prices they quoted you, I am more than happy to reach out behind the scenes and gather a little more information.

The power warranty inspection that is required in order to submit the application takes approximately 6.7 hours to complete properly. Depending upon the Hourly rate that can be an additional $2000….

So there is no mention anymore of a specific warranty coverage for hybrids components ?
It's been reported here as 7- or 8-year coverage, and the web sites (for various geographies) were mentioning 5 years just a few days ago - but now it seems it disappeared in the US (and that a warranty extension is necessary from the 4th year); the 5-year is still there in the French web site though.

For the United States / Ferrari North America market:

" Extended Coverage Plus " is literally an extension of the initial 3 year warranty on 296/SF90 variants as well. E.C.P. provides coverage for manufacture defects hybrid or not.

There is another warranty where you pay a premium up to the eighth year, then in the ninth year, Ferrari replaces the hybrid battery with the most current variant available.
Yes, there is a substantial premium being paid, however in total, it is less than the cost of a replacement hybrid battery at customer pay rates.

I will create a separate stand alone thread about that topic as soon as I can.

Thanks for the info....Is there still a discount for consecutive years and no claims?.....I believe it is 10% each....and did they increase the cost of inspection again as they did from '23 to '24?

Last year the inspection/ enrollment was $941.50 and my Power warranty was $4551.75.
