Well, nothing like makin' a guy feel good about his purchase...geeeze.
would MUCH rather have the lamp fiasco than the rectangle side markers on the front and rear that some have. Agree with Newman...brakes on the outside may have met the requirements and save some cutting..??

anyway...guess I'll go out and put her down. God rest her soul...

 

Plus a few other things to sort out....
the short list is..

1. new tires all around
2. wheels refinished and static balanced
3. first class pioneer marvel of technology radio repair
4. respray front bonnet
5. reverse rear lenses (Immediately) what if someone sees me????
6. little bit of interior leather touch up
7. couple of dings...but not many scratches
8. TUBI or something...must have it louder...want it to bark and annoy
9. repair black film around front windshield..what is that stuff?? it's peeling
off in places..
10. on a positive note for motorcar gallery..feel received a good price for the
car and Ed did give me the price he quoted me even after they raised it
$4400.00 on the website..

 

yessir...have to pick little brother up at the airport tomorrow..hope he packs light!!

anyway, overall very pleased with the car...too late to get tags today..be out front of the tax office at 8 am sharp...lot different than the Twin Turbo
1996 vs. 1984 and German vs. Italian....love the twin, and my 330, but how in the blank do you beat a flat 12 behind you in a handmade GT car??
This will be a "to have and to hold" acquisition for sure.

soon as it lights up in the morning...anyway..the film is about 1" wide and frames the windshield, like a picture frame- barely noticeable..someone may have had the dash out and scuffed it up. I don't mind the tint, need all the help I can get in the summer..looks decent against the red..........

I washed the car and was going to take pics when I had the bonnets up, but it took a week to blow out everything after washing...yes, I fire up the compressor and blow dry all the hard to reach places..after done, it was pitch black....oh, had to work on the engine bay a little as well...so much more to do.

 

thanks...need more seat time....tomorrow will never get here...it's going to be almost 70..rock n roll......I looked at Testarossas for about a month and came close to one in California, but think the extra bucks will be worth it in the long haul...wanted something to keep..

 

Go Canes!.....yes, sick...I have the Hemi and Corvette in surgery, and the garage full..so, the wife says what are you going to do when the 2 cars get finished?? How could you possibly buy another car?? uuuuuuhhhhh well ya see honey...crimeny, I can absolutely justify anything..anyway, off to the tax office to slap a tag on and away we go!! Also, gotta get the wife a big ticket item for Christmas..she walked in on me and my gal getting a wax job, so gotta make amends...wasn't planning on unveiling her till next year.

thanks for all your help Ron..appreciate the look-see ya did. had it out briefly, but concern about the rear tires keeps me under 100, but what a nice push the 12 has....not as violent as the Twin, smooth and silky...I could go across country in this car....

Hello Newman...upon further review, the windshield has also been tinted-so that will sort out fine...know why too, can't see a damn thing with the glare off the dash...saw a thread on that earlier somewhere..driving into the garage by feel only..
