    I'm really sorry to see that. I doubt that was "trouble landing"-- I would guess stall/spin.

    Absolutely. That airplane is very good at that. If I remember, it has a 2400 series symmetrical wing section, no twist, and tip stall is quick at low speed.

    From brief info this morning. They were shooting touch and go landings and the second landing was a botched three pointer. Attempted go around was not under good control and low airspeed, high angle of attack, and application of power precipitated a stall. A Navion was also destroyed in the hangar that was hit.
