Does anyone have another perspective photo of how this Euro style, 308 mirror bracket (steel) is attached to the motor? Maybe a pic of the bottom or rear. This pic came from a 2006 thread titled, "308 QV side mirror - problem solved" but the thread starter left FChat back in 2011.

I'm trying to make my Vitaloni mirrors electric and have found the common electric motor but not the mounting bracket. In my search I see that the Lambo Countach and Jalpa mount the same way but perhaps in Lancias or Maseratis?

    Thanks,
    Steven

Hi, I know I had to remove the screws and carefully pull out the two pins on the white bar from the housing. I was afraid to break something but it was ok. Then the assembly can be taken apart, but be careful with the positions of all the pieces which no longer are held together.

Conan, would you have a picture of how your black motor housing secures to the mirror housing? Yeah, that plastic sleeve is kinda thin but thankfully flexes just enough. I found the BMW E34 and Alfa Romeo GTV-6 use the common motor with the Alfa pivot sleeve closely resembling the 308 piece.

@Cirorsi , not sure if you are still around but my 308 has vitaloni baby turbo and I'm interested in making them electric, just like you did. Do you have any post or tips you can share regarding how to make this conversion? Thanks!
