I've read through a few threads here with users mentioning they own Vita-mix blenders. Managed to get myself a factory refurbed 6300 (same as the Pro 500) with 5 year warranty at a price I couldn't refuse.

Have plenty of ideas on what to experiment with, but would love to hear some proven & well loved recipes!

    Anybody?

p.s.: My first thoughts are along the (not quite so "healthy") lines of various seafood bisques.

Would love some great "go to" or daily use ideas as well as occasional "WOW" dishes.

    The perfect margarita:

    1 can frozen limeaid
    1 can water (limeaid can)
    1 can tequilla
    1/2 can triple sec
1/3 can grain alcohol (optional) I'm Irish :)
2 tbsp countrytime lemonaid mix ( don't substitute cheap lemon mix)

Blend well, this is your premix, don't drink straight

Fill with ice, mix in premix, about 1/2 pitcher, blend well, add garnish

    enjoy

    LOL!!

Awesome dkny! Sounds like a great recipe, but not likely one my wife would approve of my making every day. She might have other issues based on the fact that she is REALLY proud of HER particular margarita recipe too... :)

    I also love my Vitamix.

    Try:

    1 bunch of kale
    2 apples, sliced
    1 mini cucumber
    1 lemon, skin removed
    1/4 cup flat leaf parsley
    1 "thumb" of peeled ginger

Blend it 30-45 seconds. Done! This is my favorite recipe.

Meh, I'd get the original and (still) the best - VITAMEATAVEGEMIN. Can't beat it!!!

****EDIT - Ok, I admit I didn't really read the thread, I saw "Vita-Mix" and thought of I Love Lucy...when I read it, I figured it was so stupid, I'd leave it up...flame away :D:D:D
