Dear All…I will be in Denver on biz in about 6 weeks. Any recommendations on places to eat. I will be staying in downtown area, near convention center. I'm open to all different cuisines and price points from good hole in the wall joints to classy places to take wife and colleagues. Thanks, in advance, for any guidance…T

Rioja...great place in the heart of downtown. Avenue Grill is outside of the touristy areas but not far from downtown...another solid choice

Try Syrup at 18th & Champa

Breakfast Denver | Syrup in Cherry Creek and Downtown Denver | Denver Lunch | Denver Breakfast

And Pinche Taqueria on York just north of Colfax

TACOS ? TEQUILA ? WHISKEY DENVER, COLORADO

Also 9th Door is good, on Blake in the 1800 block.

And Vesta Grill right next to 9th Door my wife loves, but I haven't eaten there yet

Oh!! I gorgot the gyro cart guy that is usually on Market or Larimer on weekend nights, and they are flippin awesome after a night of drinking downtown.

It is super popular on Yelp, so SN aside, Cherry Cricket seems to be worthy of a look. Thanks, everyone, for the great suggestions!…T

I was joking...I guess it was hard to detect the sarcasm. If you're craving a burger and haven't been to the Cricket then it's a place I'd recommend going. I actually prefer the Brat Burger at Euclid Hall...actually, it's one of my favorite places to eat in general.

I second this, as well as Barolo in Cherry Creek and 9th Door somewhat downtown.

Out of the three I'd say Barolo.
