great, thanks
Wow! That's an amazing collection! Some great cars in there! Must have been a fantastic day. Thanks Tina and Carsten for posting/sharing this. Nevermind the shaky ones, they are ok Do you know if the cars are still driven from time to time? Of course the real collection cars probably only come outside for special events or some of them maybe not all... but what about the Testarossa for instance? That car just needs a long drive every now and then!
Hej Tina, Where is this collection? I'm in Denmark often and would enjoy seeing it if it is open to the public sometime. It's not often you find this sort of collection over there. Sean
Fantastic! Beautiful cars. I'd rather have an original Vanguish without the plastics on it but nevertheless it is a very very nice car. Ton
Thanks a lot Tina & Carsten. Thats a wonderful collection. good to see that there are also some car nuts over in Denmark Seems like he is a real hard-core James Bond fan
Hi Alex it WAS a fantastic day... no doubt about that He loved to tell about the cars and everything. And the cars are still driven from time to time He was not afraid to start the engines while he was telling about the cars.... touched them... opened and closed them etc. He showed that he knows what is good for the cars!
Hi Sean Normally he opens for public only 4 tuesdays in July each year. But let us know when you are in Denmark. Then we can arrange something with Jorgen Stroyer He told us to call him if we had some friends who wanted to see the collection. So let us see if we can arrange something He is living on the island : Funen... east of Jutland He is not very easy to find.
hehe me too you should have seen the canons on that car... it was not a pretty sight when you watched it closely But still fun to see and touch a true Bond car
*LOL* he is a true car nut... no doubt about that And a true James Bond fan.... while he was telling us about where and how he bought his Vanquish.... there was movie trailers and 007 music all over the place And he sounded like a kid on christmaseve while he was telling about his cars funny guy.
That's exactly what we all like to see here! Thanks Tina and Carsten! The Testa Rossa body comes from www.mecanicimport.com I think. Those guys had one for sale for quite a long time I believe. Cordiali saluti, Joren REMANS
Our new friends from left to right : Karen (the wife of Jørgen Strøjer) Dorthe (the wife of Henrik Schou-Nielsen) Henrik Schou-Nielsen (world famous Danish Designer and Bugatti Guru/owner) "Peirce Brosnan" (hehe) Jørgen Strøjer (the owner of the Strøjer Collection) And ofcourse the two 007 cars Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Remans Your'e very welcome You may be right about where the Testa Rossa comes from I'm not sure. BUT he offered us to buy it
Many nice pics, but the 250 GTO is an Allegretti replica using a 330GT 2+2 chassis. Best wishes, Kare
Thanks Tina, I will be sure to let you know when we come back to Denmark. My wife is from Viborg and we try to go back and visit her family a few times a year. It would be great to check out the car collection sometime. Venlig hilsen Sean
You are amazing...You post the best photo collection of cars I've ever seen before... This place is great... Thank you millions for sharing these..
weee that was funny Sean. Viborg is not far from us But please let us know...then we will try to arrange something!
Hi Tina, My wife and I have reserved some flights to DK over the holidays, so when we figure out our schedule of family members to visit, I will see if we might be able to squeeze in a visit to the car collection, if possible. I realize it may not be the best timing. I will be in touch... Sean
Hi Sean, Sounds great, just let us know when you plan to be in Denmark and if it can be squeezed in and I'll be happy to give Joergen Stroejer a call. If he is in at the time of your visit, he'll gladly open up his collection for you and us to have a look Best regards Carsten
Tina, As my wife is Danish, I spend a fair amount of time in Denmark (Copenhagen area). I had not heard of the Stroejer Collection. I would love to visit it sometime if at all possible. Where is the collection? When would it be possible to visit - any particular time of the year. P.s.: I was at the Ferrari meeting in Vaerloese last June. Joop
Hi Joop Here you have his website: http://www.vedstaarup.dk/bil/index.html It's in Danish... but i thought that your wife could translate it for you ? Normally he is only open during four weeks in the summer. But he opens up for small groups (like 25 people, but we know him, so possibly we could arrange something) who would like to visit, if you call him and talk to him first. Let's know when you are in Denmark. Then we could perhaps arrange something and go with you. I attach a pic of where it is Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Tina for the information. We will be in Denmark for X-mas, but I do not think we will have much time. As we mostly go to the Copenhagen area, Fyn is not really on the way (we mostly take the ferry Puttgarden-Roedby). However next year late May / early June we will go for a holiday to Norway and Sweden. During that trip (with a caravan) we could go through Jylland/Fyn and take the bridge to Sjaeland. I will definitelly keep it in mind and let you know. Again many thanks. Joop
