Bob, On the website, it appears that you can only register as a co-driver. Am I doing something wrong?
Noticed that too. I'm hoping to pay with Amex, drive the full day, then dispute the charges and get my money back. Customers do it to me all day long, so I figure turn-about is fair play.
Try again. You may have hit it just as the site registration was being created. If it doesn't work now, let me know.
FYI, when you register online, I receive your contact info and will send a confirmation package within a few days.
Just registered online....looking forward to VIR Booked a suite at the Lodge over looking the straight
Is it monday or tuesday? the 31st is monday, the online registration refers to driving on Tuesday. I'm in either day, just don't want to show up too early or, worse, too late.
Hey Guys, Richmond VA Ferrari group here... The VIR calendar also shows a Ferrari group has the track for the weekend of May 17-18. Who is running this one? Monday March 31 is not currently shown on the VIR calendar. Are there 2 Ferrari associated events? John
They are both NC/FCA, but **ANY*** FCA member is always welcome to join us. Monday March 31 is full course, no frills, just a crap-load of tracktime. We'll generally arrive Sunday night for dinner & such, then drive hard all day Monday then drive home. Sat/Sun May 17/18 is the south course, and a full weekend of track time + other Ferrari fun events. At both events, there will be plenty of instructors and a massive emphasis on safety. Our track steward for past events, Peter Krause (lolaman), does a terrific job helping everyone develop their driving skills and have a great/safe time at VIR.
Thanks Daniel. Just wanted to make sure one date did not get moved. I get in late from the West Coast Sunday the 30th. Wish I could go. The 17/18 is a possibility but disappointed about the short course. But, will see. Talk to you soon, John
Haha...you're reminding me of (what I assume to be) my FCA-NC Beach Trip top speed record, if not the FCA-NC event record, haha. Maybe we shouldn't publish the number.
OK, I know another local 360 owner who should NEVER be allowed to be on a rally with you... I think it is best that my Lotus will just not go that fast.
I would not worry about J too much. This time next year, when his little auto project is finished, we will all be wanting the "fast" ride with him!!
