This incredible piece is a preview guide to virtually every American manufacturer in 1935 (Plus a few British marques). Each manufacturer's page includes multiple photos of different models, as well as some brief specs. Cars include Auburn, Austin, Brewster, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, DeSoto, Detroit Electric, Dodge, Duesenberg, Ford, Graham, Hudson, Hupmobile, Hudson, Lafayette, LaSalle, Lincoln, Nash, Oldsmobile, Packard, Pierce Arrow, Plymouth, Pontiac, REO, Rolls Royce, Studebaker, Stutz, Terraplane and Willys Measures 4" by 8 1/2". This piece has a paperclip indentation on the upper right edge, as well as some corner and surface wear. Overall, however, this is in remarkably good condition for its age. Cars in this race include Porsche, Ferrari, Gordini, Healey, Mercedes Benz, Talbot, Allard, Jaguar, Aston-Martin, Veritas, BMW, Maserati, AFM, Simca, BMW and more. Drivers listed include Alberto Ascari (winner of this race), Stirling Moss and many others. Text is in German, but there are many profiles of drivers / teams including lots of content about Ascari. There are also many great advertisements with spectacular graphics, including Mercedes Benz Typ 300 SL, Dunlop Tires, Borgward Hansa 1800, Coca-Cola, Porsche and many more. The covers were originally sealed with a Mercedes Benz sticker-seal which is open but still included (very rare that this is not torn or removed!). An incredible piece of racing history! This program measures 5 3/4" by 8" and has 49 pages. This item is in excellent condition for its age with only some light corner and edge wear. Likely one of the nicest examples in existence.
