VIN to delivery

Don't count on the app, as a reference, my second picture was sent after delivery.

In my case:
- VIN assigned at the end of June
- Delivery on the last week of September

With 2 caveats: in August the factory in Maranello is closed (that adds 1 month) but I live in Europe so there was no shipping/customs (that saves 1 month).

 

Yep I am at Status 60 with only the first pic , which really could be of anyone’s car
! I went 10R in May , lost a month because of Shutdown

i think it depends on many factors, one of them being where the car needs to be shipped to. I was fortunate in that I confirmed my order (paid deposit) in November 2023 and car arrived in August 2024. It was specked August 2023 with and “expression of interest” paid at that time, allocation confirmed in November 2023 and delivery taken in September 2024. Not sure there is a science to it and at the time in August 2023 the dealer in London, UK H R Owen said that all allocations for UK were done but now when I took delivery, they are once again taking orders for the 296 GTS? Hope yours arrives swiftly and you will love the ride, it’s beyond awesome!

Yeah, that was my thread. I got a VIN the first week of April and my final pic in June. Still no car. Makes no sense because the vehicle was completed in June and went 90 status and was supposedly put on the boat by late June or early July. What kind of cheap shipping service is Ferrari using? Why does it take more than 3 months to ship a car? Where was this boat going, and how many stops did it have? So many unanswered questions but I'm tired of waiting. A friend of mine is going through the exact same thing, but he was originally told an April delivery and it's now October. I missed the entire summer and mine is a 2024 model that I'm now only going to receive likely in November. I can already buy a used 2024, similarly spec'd, with 150 miles on the odometer for 20K off sticker.

My 911 GTS was completed in 2 weeks and was on a boat for another 2 weeks and at my door 5 weeks after production. I know, first world problems, but I'm not paying nearly half a million dollars to get carrot sticked around like this.

 

Your dealer will know which ship it is on then you can use a freight app to track it.

may I ask what part of the world it is being shipped to ?

 

USA. Ha, you made a funny. My dealer doesn't have such info, nor would they reveal it if they did.

 

In my market , which id not the US, the dealer does have that info once it hits status 90 and they do release it and you can track it on a shipping app. It seesm yet again Ferrari NA is playing games.

 

My dealer says there is no way to track which boat.

 

If you are not dealing with the dealer principal or GM , get to that person . They can find out that information from the distributor , it has been done in the past

 

Received our VIN in the app mid-June 2024. No pictures in the app but according to dealer the car is in status 70, so should be on its way to the dealer soon...

 

It’s really frustrating. I got my Vin in Feb and car started production. It went really fast then got stuck for months with no updates. Fast forward to today and the car has had no movements. I was told end of the year delivery now. I don’t understand how production works, do they just put some cars aside and don’t work on it? I’m stuck at stage 70 for now.

 

Maybe there was a shortage of carbon wheels again

 

Vin first week of april, car first week of oct. Car sat at port for a month.

 

I am in similar situation. VIN/10R late May and just sitting at factory in status 60 since end of July. Bonkers. At least mine is a 2025.

 

When did it get delivered?
