In an old thread called 400 Series Quiz the observation is made that 80's Volvos used the same valve adjustment shims as Ferrari used in the 400 engine. Does anyone know about this or any other commonality?
Rutland has the shims but it would be nice to run the valves in one continuous process rather than pull it all apart, measure, order, wait and then reassemble after some time lapse.
    Thanks,
    Greg

Yep, Volvo shims used in the 240 ( and other models of the 70's and 80's ) are the same, somewhat broader range of thicknesses available too.

The Fiat X1/9 also uses them. Many cars from this era used these shims. International auto has a nice dropdown menu with sizes you can order. Easy
